Most importantly, Stories from an Hourglass is the story of an ordinary man's struggles and triumphs in making extraordinary use of his life gift. What distinguishes this book from others is its firm grounding in research, ability to weave together words and images to tell a story, honesty, and commitment to treating people and life events fairly and kindly. Don Iannone is a writer, poet, photographer, and professor. He is the author of twenty nonfiction, poetry, and photography books. Don's work in economic development, environmental planning, higher education, and healthcare has carried him to thirty-two states, ten countries, and ten American Indian reservations. Don holds doctoral degrees in Divinity and Philosophy. His formative years unfolded in Martins Ferry and St. Clairsville, nestled in the heart of Eastern Ohio. Don and his wife Mary call Greater Cleveland home.
